Artist statement: This photo was taken on one of my many socially distant walks this spring. I love abandoned buildings and I am obsessed with this old former gas station in my town that has been vacant for some time. I love how light shines through its windows and this particular day the light and reflections in the window were very clear. I caught the reflection of myself with my camera as well as the scenery of downtown Northboro.

Artist statement: Though primarily a landscape photographer, there are no limitations to what I find compelling. In recent years I've gravitated more towards black and white interpretive and abstract imagery. I often shoot with an infrared converted camera and convert those images to b&w. I'm attracted to the expanded tonal range that infrared affords, to the subtle details that it reveals, and to the abstract nature of this invisible light.

Artist statement: In our new cosmic discoveries of the past twenty years, we turn to our theoretical mathematicians to explain what we are seeing. After doing their thing, they tell us the only explanation is the existence of other dimensions hence confirming what our spiritual leaders have been telling us all along. Be open.

Artist statement: Mr. Frodo's Realm was not my intended subject this day. I was out working for Audubon, checking Osprey nests in my area. The day stared out clear but fog rolled in as I was heading across a local golf course to check several nests there. As I crossed between fairways I came upon this scene, I wanted to capture the ethereal feel of the scene which reminded me of "Lord of the Rings"

March of The Maples

Submission Url:
Artist statement: March of the Maples occurred in early Nov. 2015. I had gone out to shoot the last of the fall foliage, which carries into November here in Southern New England along the coast. I had driven by this stand of maples before. On this morning there was a light fog. I decided to park and walk around the back side of the trees to see if there was a better composition. I walked into this scene.

Bannister's Wharf and the Tall Ships
Butch Lombardi
$150.00

Submission Url:
Artist statement: This photograph was taken in June of 2007-the last time the class A Tall Ships came to Newport RI. The Gloria was berthed at Bannister's Wharf. I had gone down early the morning after they arrived. I found this great composition but the wharf was already too busy. I returned the next morning at 3:30AM and waited for the first light of dawn to tint the western sky. I was rewarded with this shot of a quiet Bannister's Wharf and the Gloria, her yardarms adorned in lights.
