Artist statement: Within the first hour of arriving in Prague, I came upon these old shoes in the middle of a cobblestoned street. I couldn't help but wonder about their origins and hope that the owner wasn't longing for their old pair of slippers.

Artist statement: As a lifelong resident of Massachusetts, I enjoy painting local landscapes and scenes. My paintings highlight the beauty in our area and sometimes includes places we are familiar with, or hidden gems. This painting is based on the late winter sunrise over Lake Manchaug, MA. Artist statement: The Nubble Lighthouse is a common motif. The late afternoon light striking the recently painted tower stood out against the infinite blue of a clear summer sky and drew my eye away from the total island motif. It was a moment of exciting perspective of a common image.

Artist statement: A magnifying glass was put on on such basic experiences, observations, and connections when the everyday norm was shattered by the pandemic. "Knowing Ourselves Through Knowing Others", a drawing based off of my partner, came from the intensity of isolation, and the peek it gave us to both our shadow selves and higher selves.
